Weather not too bad this weekend, but misty and cold. Still.... some progress has been made and starting to take shape.

Got a bit more flooring down now

And panelled the wall up to the Luton and fitted cupboard carcass that i shortened and stuck extra bit on to follow roof profile.

I could now fit the seat box back in and trial fit the cushions and arm rests, looks excellent!!

Ive just made a start on fitting some gas pipes for the fridge and burners and shall be reporting on that next week hopefully as well as fitting the fuse box, charger and RCD..Not good when your colour blind!!

Having just read through your adventures renovating the camper, it makes my roadranger nearly look straight forward, famous last words. Nearly got the heads off, so far so good, (a head gasket went less than a mile from home after a week of driving around the New Forest), mine seems to be more engine and welding problems.
Good luck

How do you plan on finishing the walls ? Are you painting them?

No, painting them will show every mark and join. I intend to use a flexible filler on the joints and use a plain (not ribbed) wall carpet on ceiling and walls, different colour for each.

Dave
I have read the whole post and If it was me I would have gave up when you pulled the units out...
fair play to you, that is a great job you have done so far, a BIG pat on the back mate. :D :D :D

Good luck with the rest of the weekends and I look forward to the next instalment..

everytime I try to get out and do some work on my campervan the freezin cold convinces me to forget it... I did manage to rewire my zig unit and replace the feeds from the batteries, however I took it to work and worked in the warm warehouse!!

Great thread and I have picked up some tips on fitting the toilet I have the same type to fit in my van soon.... well actually when the snow stops.
