Had to re-install the 6x9's as they fell out sometime during the summer

Sorted. It's still like this some months later, needs some thicker wood putting in to better support the weight/gaffer tape :P

Brand new secondhand tyre blowout shocker. It went down rather quickly this one!

Doing the brakes, This side was soaked with fluid as the cylinders were fubar.

Looming MOT meant I thought I'd get back to that hole in the chassis rail I found whilst painting the underside.

Chop chop

Masking tape and grubby thumb tech

Transfer the tape to suitable thick shelving bracket

Needed a tickle with the grinder and then it slotted in. At this point I found the gas had run out on the mig

Off to 'frauds and back with tea and

Sparkey spark and zinc primer, zinc primer went inside the chassis rail whilst it was sliced open too.

Stone chip

Top coat

Wax oil stuff added through the hole in the back of the rail for good measure. Decided not to replicate the hole in this side as that seemed to be where the problem started, also can't be arsed to grind back the underside welding as it noisy and boring work at the best of times.

Gonna throw it in for an early MOT next month which it might even pass, we'll see.

Last minute MOT prep consisted of the usual gaffa tape action on the sharp bits still awaiting some new metal letting in.

I'll really will make a concerted effort to put right the visible body work this year now that the underside is mostly finished off. From the chassis rails to the sills still needs tending to which will include a few more patches being let in. Good news is that the structural stuff is all well and good and the other good news is it has another 13 month ticket.

Sound as a pound was the testers verdict :D
