Now i know i said the next time you see the engine bay it will be all nice and green and new looking, well i lied

Progress is at a minimum but some is better than none, appart from gathering engine parts like alloy heads roller rockers HUGE cam shaft and other bits to draw several hundred horses from my 460 I have been slowly stripping the bay of all paint filling holes and smoothing out bumps

Heres a rehash of what it looked like, rusty ruff and nasty looking

Image

stripped of all bits some holes welded up battery tray gone and braced around the hole

Image

This is after all paint was removed ( i got no bare shots) holes filled and smoothed steering box mount blended into body and filling around the "engine hole"

The black paint is this brilliant stuff call vinyl etch and it realy bites into the bare metal, if you have taken your ride back to bare put this stuff on first you wont regret it
Image

As it sits 2 coats of high fill now 2 more to go on tomorrow, then give it a wet rub and fix any imperfections then its green time

Image

Power steering box mount looks like its meant to be there

Haha yeah as opposed to these little rover V8's  I didnt see the point of fitting a V8 that was smaller than the factory 6 Image
