Just thought I would let you know our Beryl dropped a valve seat on the way back from the MOT station last week. So I now feel your pain on that one! Muttley had our three spare heads crack tested, and all of them had multiple cracks radiating out from No1 exhaust valve. Not good. Mutts will be installing a new engine very shortly......

Noooo! That's not good...he is good at rebuilding them though! Amazing that there should be 2 so very close together. Don't forget to check for the stamp numbers on the new head :)

There is no legal requirement to carry a spare----if you do carry a spare,,,even if it is damaged or worn out,,nobody can touch you for it while it is in spare wheel carrier
