cheers m8 i tested a transit/escort one its same, need a 6 pin one (plus illumination- but not important)

if its a 6 pin type i can cross outers over with 2 wires to reverse polarity... maplins switches will be wrong size for holes in dash methinks :!:

are they at home or in the cave?

picked up a cheap £2.50 switch from maplins as a temp til i find a more factory looking one- or at least one that fills the hole properly...
started hooking it up will finish it soon!

found what i believe to be a factory alarm, looks like its still connected... i found another siren too under bonnet.

any one got any info on these, could i get another remote for it and how? not even sure if its factory or telewest fitted??

Wow most of stuff from shelves and cupboards boxed up...
Actually making good progress!

Might even leave me time to play tomo, wanna take the van out for a spin as not been run in ages...
Will need to first finish wiring up the new sld switch and connect the earth and live to fusebox, won't take long!

Now debating on keeping bulkhead or not.... Hmmm

LOL I Friggin hate Twitter n Facebook... You have been poked by....

Had enough of it all... The transit forum is all I need....

Back to the van ...

Now thinking I only wanted bulkhead to secure tool etc but
If I made a kind of false floor that maybe covers wheel arches, boxed in with lift up lockable lid would be better cos then I could still fold rear seats down when needing to carry big stuff, I will be needing to get a wardrobe in van soon when I move so it got me thinking...

Also the roof lining is coming down soon as it needs doing properly with more than just me fitting it!

And I need to sort out some sort of low front bulkhead to stop stuff rolling under seats/ pedals...

The list goes on....

Hi mate, glad all is well with the move to a larger TRANSIT STORAGE facility

The false floor does look like a good idea, and quite simple to make!

I'm liking the false door idea!! I have seen them made or people by metal tuff bank/van vault things.

Also as for a wardrobe?? Stand it up in mine ??
