Cant help you with larger sheets so much but an over head table saw you can borrow or use if it helps. And a small diy black and decker circle saw that will do 20mm you can use...

TOP TIP there Bri, nice one. i will treat myself to a circular saw, wont get much use so cheapish one should do. my jigsaw is complete sh*t the blade bends and distorts and always end up holding it pissed to cut in straight line....

for now ill get my measurements on paper... there may well be room for 2 15" subs too 8)

Got a wee bit done this morning during a quiet spell between nappies and sunday bests...

switch wired up and in place and working, sld now locks and unlocks on the button!! was gonna add a red and green light to go on with relavent push of button but thought better of it... switch aint factory but stays put so it'll do for now...one on the left...
Image

Got this ages ago, found it in the back, tacky placky but it may come in useful for rear passengers when finally finished...
Image
Image
Moved this from where it was strapped to side of passenger seat frame which would be inaccessable in a panic... now better but also found another smaller one for up front between seats when new bulkhead gets made!
Image

started to tidy up the old telewest 100a inverter wiring too
Image
Image

disconnected everything bar solar chargers and air-horn compressor....

oh yeah...

I FIXED MY HORN . .. the factory one under n/s headlamp... wiggled the wires to test with meter, tried it and now it works... REEEESULT !!! 8)
will wire up the switch to a 2 way switch to do either normal or both lots of horns on the stalk. still want me roof pull like in the films but that can wait !

Anyone got a cover for this light for sale??
Also after a Tourneo roof lining front and back if theres one going?? door cards etc a bonus but not important!
Image

more soon as and when it happens... 8)

yay off sunday! might be allowed to slip out back for a bit between sessions of boxing sh*t up!

cant decide where to put my 6x9 s either was gonna stick em into the ply wall but not sure where to go, possibly in the new front bulkhead -to be, or the other place i was thinking of was sort of rear fo the sld in either side maybe where the rear most side windows would be...

ideas guys?

been paid and paid out too so always a treat to be flush! (for a few days  )

What's wrong with using jigsaw? Apart from sawdust in the orifices :(

Mine's the best investment I've ever made, 2nd only to the makita drill 8)

in my hands a jig sawn line would look roughly like ----------------------_________--_---_____--_______________------------

the blades always seem to bend... well twist to be more accurate!

Had a lil mess about earlier cos i needed a break... the epoxy didnt work on the sld handle, so it will need replacing and i saw where i got a blow from the exhaust too, right on the edge of the flange where it meets head, seems theres not a wide enough flange to actually cover the hole on the rear cylinder (#3) i could see yellow flashes when i revved it from under bonnet... looks like ill be getting those steel manifolds after all then! oh well, least ill have somewhere to do the work soon! still really need to get a leccy power steering pump too soon as its a slag steering at low speeds without pas but i do love the extra power! :D

Had a bit of an idea earlier, regarding blowing manifolds, might cut the flange plate off the scimiter manifolds and use em as a sandwich plate!! might work, might not!

thinking about it it may work as the flanges are wide enough to cover all 3 porst completely and thin enough to not take up all the thread on the studs....hmmm

if it dont its £175 for a pair of steel racing capri ones that might fit without too much bastardizing!
