done all that then found this by the front leaf spring which i think is a common fault?

thats going to be a garage job as i cant get the angle lying on the floor

had a lot of rain the last few days and the damp areas have stayed dry. think i solved leak problems by closing the gap along the seams of the roof and covering with silicone and then painting it.

Fair bit of rot in that grill section at the bottom of the window isn't there?

yes. but i have sourced a replacement. so not going to touch that.
i do need two door window glass with the guide on the bottom as mine has rotted and the windows drop.

decided on my colours. what do you think. very seventies??????
since i was not around in the seventies brown is my interpretation of a colour scheme. opinions please.

Shes comeing on nicely well done. I think the wipers may have been painted black to stop the sun glare.

possibly, i never noticed any glare in my old camper and that had chrome wipers. suppose it would be a good idea if it did glare though.

Yours is a late Mk1, and balck wipers were standard towanrd the end of the Mk1's run. Maybe the previous owner couldn't get the black ones so painted the chrome ones. Your coulour scheme is growing on me, don't go too mad with the tan brown, large areas of it can look muddy.
