So the drivers side under sill panel is rusty and holed so I thought I could fit the step box section and small sill but I'm thinking just get the side door stuff in.so I've started removing the panel :P

Inner front arch fitted and a bit of plate work on the step .

The underseal will hide the ergh but it is rot free. :P

Quote for the side door panels is quite expensive. But finding a rwd drivers side sliding door donor vehicle is rare

I mean what's up with the SLD, why are you looking at changing it?

Oh Al my good fellow, I'm not looking at changing it........ I'm adding it :P

I know it's more crazy an adventure than the 1 bilbo baggins went on in the hobbit but needs must when loot wants something.

I bought a tourneo to steal bits off but it turns out (at this point) that the tourneo is worth fixing and selling on. However with this being rwd there's a few panels that are different in the rear.
So buying them from ford might be costly.although some are only 25£ each. My plan is to do the floor sections and that means I can mot it.
Hence me procrastinating. :|

Ps nothing is galvanised

Bit of a kick in the happy sac today  contacted ford and the parts I asked for are obsolete and not manufactured any more.

Anyone got a sheet metal bender by any chance?

Mine is now on its third OAT sensor, and none of them have read correctly. The first one was the most wildly inaccurate, reading up to +45 degrees on a hot day, and down to minus 25 degrees in the depths of winter. The one that's on there now is the best (closest) of the bunch but still never tallies with the other cars  :P

It gets irritating cancelling the warning every two minutes. The low temp warning keeps popping up (around 4 degrees) when driving around the country lanes and the temp keeps changing slightly :(

I gave up and ordered a new sensor, the constant beeping was driving me slightly mad
