running the auto will be great and smooth :wink: and you will probly still get the same fuel return maybe better with the v6 :wink: :wink:

there was a bit of black smoke when i started it up i put that down to it being stood the last 6 years

yeah its out of a scimitar i cant remember what the gauge was reading ill strike it up again tomorrow and find out but it was good

do you know the miles???? what i am thinking is wile you have the engine out what about replaceing the oil pump drive shaft as it would be a shame to loose a engine just cos that spins round!
probly just me beeing over fussy! :wink:

i dont know the mileage, but if the oil pump shafts are prone for going then ill probably change it
