Well it's going through changes at the mo, so here's some equipment pics for now -

Ipod and xbox and 400gb hard-drive player, into home pre-amp

Kenwood KDC-W3037 to boost the levels
Image

Audi Control 4XS and 2XS to split up the frequencies
Image Image

Denon DCA800 and DCA400 for the mids and tweeters
Image Image

Rockford 160a2 and 500a2 for the mid-bass and subs
Image Image

CDTechnologies 6s and tweeters
Image Image

Rockford Audiophile 6" and JL 6" midbass to go in front doors
Image Image

Another Punch 15" DVC

and then a 3-way set-up in each rear door and some monitors here and there, but they'll come laters.

OK. I've got a bandit1200 which needed painting,
so after seeing MadMax's ausie van with it's most excellent marbiliser paint effects,
I thought I'd mess around with a budget rattle-can version on the Bandit.

Fist painted a board matt black, then added some crackled red white and silver.
This is what I got -

I liked the silver on black, so did the bike panels -

Then lacquered them.

I've got some bags of different coloured metal-flakes coming in the post now,
so will be having a play with them before I decide how to do the van 8)

Cheers matey 8)

If I'm gonna do the whole van,
there's gonna have to be a lot more going on to keep the eye interested.
Got lots of ideas, but need a theme to pull it together,
stop it from looking boring.

Months of trawling pictures of custom paint jobs for ideas and inspiration:roll:

I've got an AQUAplus by SUMVISION,
but there's loads of types on the market.

SOUNDS UPDATE:

Just got hold of a 10db Signal booster to use instead of a head-unit,
cos I never really wanted to run a head unit anyway :D
