Let us know how it goes Have you had wet and dry paper out on the van yet? Looks good, certainly different, but does that get you pulled over more often? I'd think that some bypassers could get injured by twisting their neck at worst, did you get pulled over already?

Not been pulled yet Nadjenka and the police have seen it loads of times. Like Alan says it's quite conspicuous so I would have thought it would be less likely to be pulled Oh well should get the bits I need today so I can sort it tom and on a good point not one mention of rust not even on an advisory

I have decided not to bother putting it back in for it's mot at mo as it looks like the headlights are gonna be a pretty major job to sort out, so I'm gonna take it off the road for a while and put new wings rear quater panels on it and stick the cossie lump in so it's all done ready for painting properly
I also picked up a set of wellers the other day so they will be going on as well
I will keep you all updated over the next few weeks

What did they have against the lights?

Pointing too far in so they need to be moved

can't you just pack them out for the MOT even if it looks wrong then once it's passed put them back untill you sort it out for good

pity about that the lights are a superb mod

he wouldn't pass it cause they weren't fitted 100% and the water pump has gone completely to boot so its not really driveable so thought while i've got a couple of weeks off i'd just get it all sorted at once

Sorted the van out and done everything for the mot then took it to a different mot station and it failed again
First mot station didn't pick up on the fact the front lower ball joints were knackered. £50 and 4 hours later hopefully it's finally ready

yay the old girl passed her mot today and my god it drives so much better now the ball joints are done its like a new van

not fitted yet bud gotta get them painted next week ad get some tyres. hopefully i'll get them fitted next week.
however the builder i've been working for has a unit where he stores some old cars and building stuff and he's looking into getting some ramps and welding gear so it looks like i might have a good workshop to use soon

been so busy at work mate just not getting any time at mo, it looks like its gonna have to wait for a while now. i have got some wellers for it but i've not had a chance to get them finished and get some tyres for them. Hopefully they will be on and i'll get the van lowered soon
