Tinted the rear side windows today ready for fitting later this month when I have a week off

Not the greatest tint job in the world but not too bad.

Couple of bits aren't cut particularly well but I was getting a bit fed up of tinting as I'd already finished of tinting this today

Was thinking about that.

I had a few "new unused" headlamps for sale at last years "Mania" they were fitted with wheel for electrical levelling and had glass lenses :!: only sold one, to Ali for £15, I didn't even notice the wheel it was Ali that pointed it out

Thats interesting because I bought one off you! And it didn't have a facility for electric levelling... elec levelling is not done by a gear, its an electronic actuator with a 1/3 turn twist lock to fit which pulls backward and forward

Don't think you bought one off me matt (in fact definitely didn't as I only sold one) Hmm wheels, actuators :?: :?: :?: I'll take a pic of one and post it up and maybe someone can say what it is :?: (might just be a posh manual adjuster :?: )

Certaily better than my attempt. I would be well pleased with that.

Well a bit if unexpected welding was needed last weekend after hitting a bad pothole

Not the prettiest welding but I've gone for functional

And in other news, 4 years on I've finally sorted the problem with the alarm going off every time I unlocked it from the drivers door, it was the switch thing that goes around the lock barrel.

I am also considering selling up at the moment as I could do with a lwb really

Van got broken into again this week, this time they smashed the drivers side quarterlight

Then a 5 minute job of hoovering up the broken glass turned into this

Looks like I'm doing some welding this weekend

I thought they might be discontinued :( shame as I would've liked to replace mine as it's got a few holes in it

Well the replacement quarterlight arrived yesterday, the seal wasn't great so just reused mine.
Tinted it before fitting it as well

Just that floor to sort out now...

Had a couple of quiet afternoons so got cracking on the floor...

As is the ford way a smallish hole soon turned into a biggish hole

Got it all cleaned up and welded up and gave it a generous coat of red oxide primer

NICE job 8) 8) 8) 8) When colour isn't an issue I would get yourself a tin of Garage Floor paint (plenty on the bay, quite cheap too) its a lot tougher than "Normal" paint (its made to be stood on and have stuff dragged across it etc) you can get quite a few different colours..red, blue, green, black, grey, yellow and white (Good for underneath bits if you don't want underseal like inner arches where they look better painted in my opinion)
