if you wanted to run it at full 155ps with the st pcm, you could just change the engine bay loom to the 03> 125tdci loom and the Pcm connections are the same.

What cluster do you have? the digi one :?:

I got my engine from my own damaged St mate

Cheers

Hi Shaun is it not the inner loom I would have to change? How many pieces is a transit loom in? Ie engine loom, engine bay loom, Interiour loom? If so wheres it join? If you get my drift just not sure how much of the loom I would need to get.

Also I take it I would need the transit tdci 03> loom as the PCM is on a different side on a mondeo

the loom that connects to the pcm is the "engine bay loom" complete with the fuse/relay holder, this connects to dash loom by the big multiplug below the PCM, then the only other loom is the engine itself.

if you use the 155pcm though, you may need to alter dash loom to accept the mondeo clocks, if the transit ones dont work.

ARE your clocks the old style ones :?:

if you use your 125pcm with seperate injector module(have you got a seperate DELPHI module somewhere :?: ) then i think that putting the 155ps's mapping into the pcm like we said before would defo not work.

if it were the same type of pcm though like the st one then you may have a better chance.

when they introduced the 125ps tdci, the first ones were visteon pcm's like a TDDi but with seperate injector module, they changed this after only 9months to the full delphi PCM, they did the same with mondeos.

I'll have to check the clocks mate, I'm sure the 125 PCM in my van is flat top and bottom where as the Mondeo one is finned? If that makes any difference?

Where would I find this separate Delphi box to find out what kind of PCM is in the van originally?

Think I best start lookin for a 03> loom....

Looney fitters just give me an idea of fitting gte 16v digi clocks but don't know if it would be to much work?

How hard do u think it would be to fit a mk7 dash?

Fitting the 16v clocks is simple mate. I recon easier than trying to get the mondeo ones to work anyways. On another note, i plugged the mondeo clocks into my van tonight and a few of the lights came on but in the wrong order, ie head lights were on and main bea, indincator came on. Press hazards and head light indicator flashed. If had 2 workking doiagrams then i recon could easily be wired up.... Im not 100% but im sure if the fuel guage is wrong then a resister change would sort that out.

How have you managed to get the st PCM to work with the transit loom? Ive had to revert back to my 85 ps PCM as it wouldnt work for me ,. Guttered.

Wish i had diagrams... :(

Looneyfitter I need a newer loom for my ecu but I still had to make sure my van was tdci before I started the conversion as it's a bit more work to convert a tddi. Is your van tddi or tdci? And what are you trying to put in it? What's your thread title?

Mate your a star.. I really appreciate that.... Doesnt anyone on here do photo shopS? If not get me a pic of a silver van and ill get one sorted for you. :D Never seen a silver one with white wheels.... I recon it might work..

What did you use off the mondeo loom on yours? I did strip the loom out of the mondeo for mine but it was a complete minefield trying to split the circuits. I take it you have put the whole loom in and run them side by side or summit? Pics would be good.
