yes they are in shed- can drill out t5he 13mm holes, but i neede a 60degree metal counter sinker. think ill ask captain hook nicely if he'll get his man with a metal shop to finish the holes!

Bit of brasso cleaned it up well enough, just wish i owned a small/large car parts washer would be great, but "not til i've got a garage to put it in..." :?

More elbow grease then!

My neighbour Ade said he will help me fit it sunday.
few extra pipes on the manifold, dunno what goes where- looks like therre is a water port in the inlet manifold?? is this right??

are you on about the pipe you can see in the pic :?: it's the auto choke that uses the water temperature :D

i see the water pipe from auto choke - goes bk into lower block of manifold???
also what is the middle hole for - threaded 1/2 " approx
and looks like vac spur too on far right?

it looks like ill have to remove heater pipe, attach to choke , but the water from the choke goes thru another pipe, not bk to heater but into the manifold. theres an extra hole between the air ports i guess its a water port- bout inch by half inch rectangle?? is this a water cooled manifold?

help appreciated!

Well not too much happening recently as it aint tropical! Wellers off being drilled and counter sunk, new windscreen on way as current one fooked by wipers last snow.... hopefully going in tomo!

cam belt and tensioner very soon, will hopefully sort timing out too in one hit then! might even get the better carb fitted this year too!

defo need a new starter mine has not quit but hinting greatly of retirement!!

had a little spend up on ebay got some led clusters to go in my clear front and side indicators. the front (21w) ones arrived today, £5.99 free postage, came in 2 days! will post piccy when i find where emma put usb lead for my phone.

also ordered mk1 escort steering hub boss and a snap off hub too! seen a wheel i really like too, what do you guys think...
