Oooooow shiney, hows the chin spoiler fitted, glue n self tappers' looks the same colour to me N

Lots of glue and some double sided sticky foam and remove a torx that goes through the bumper and you drill a hole in the sport lip then refit torx again.

The upper torx holds the top bit of trim on and so on but the skirts and other bits are going to be a sh*t to do i think

I'll get there tho, also the passenger door has some damage but the trim covers it but i bought a rubber mallet today and hit it which straightened it a treat

So it not as easy as, drill some hole and go mad with the rivet gun, I was gonna get some bmw side skirts and modify them to fit my van but I cant figure out how they come off the car.

These issues are sent to test our minds all in the pursuit of a smart looking van. N

Some bits are OK, the mk7 kit may be a little easier but this 1 some parts are best described as me trying to bond a glass to the side of a door. 8 other words there's fook all to connect

The correct kit has double sided foam and concealed screw's etc but the fibreglass kit doesn't sit right, it's like they've made it over the original or something.

Am sure you'll figure some way of doing it, if all else fails can you not fiberglass some brackets to the inside of the skirts. N

Fronts on, can't rush these things, especially when there's Fook all to connect each bit to lol, been vacuuming today, tired now

My 2 relays came today, from Poland, they gave me solder and wire too, don't get that in Britain or China do ya

Went to the engineers to get this milled, it did have an extra v but was catching the inner wing when I was speeding up, awful sound right through the chassis I wanted a disk tacked on that was 5-10mm larger to help keep the belt on but no dice yet.

Engineers? Is that the genni drive shifted a tad when it had a bump?

Possibly but I'll say no, it only fowls when I floor it as the engine moves on the rubber mounts, the van is square and true I'll have you know!

The pulley isn't Ford it is power all, their mk1 was on top of the engine and this the mk2 is at the front, the belt is too long and there isn't enough room between the pulley and chassis, but it just about fits
They thought it was acceptable bodge
