i must admit only being on here a week or so this has to be bar far the most impressive thing iv been reading so far and the fabrication is top notch it almost looks like it was there from factory!! :D
just follow the onscreen instructions and it's fairly idiot proof...trouble is, we keep producing better idiots

Brilliant work there you're doing. I like the steering conversion. Is it going to be powered steering ? 8)

yes it will run the full mk5 setup, power steering rack and anti roll bar etc.

just got my hands on a turbo di for this project. im goin to sit it in to mock everything up, swap over the pump to a bosch and maybe get it running when ive it sitting in there.

i actually ended up selling this one a couple of years back...just had too much on at the time and got a very good offer for it!!

i must check in with the bloke who bought it to see if it got finished.. 90 percent of the hard work was done so he was taking on a nice project!!
