ive had this about 2 years now. I bought it from a local welder well he was known to be a welder anyway lol. He said it was solid but while veiwng i could see it was rotten in places but put in a offer anyway and he took it. when i first got it, it was all running and complete but it was a v4 the drive home was eventful lol. When i got home i decided a DI conversion and tidyup was the way to go and then maybe go holidaying a few times in it . These are the oldest pics ive got sadly which start withe the v4 removed and the bodywork started.

as you can see they have been patched allot already so i started by cutting the passenger side chassis rail off just behind the bump stop and as i had a mk3 pickup for scrap i cut the rails out of that 
. The mk3 rail joined up a treat so I then repeated the process on the drivers side here are some pics. 
i welded each part of the rails to the box then ran another weld over them thats why they look abit rough lol. also i had to mod the lower part of the inner wings for the chassis rails it was rotten there anyway so no big deal lol
