Iv got some more mods to do soon. Got the fan working again fixed the cup holder and fitted the radio and sub :P all the important bits :roll: :roll: Next job id timing belt and tentioner :D

Have to say the cup holder in my MK3 was better the MK5 one is cr*p and i DO NEED a cup holder :roll: :lol: :lol:

well. timing belt broke yesterday :roll: :roll: 2 hours at the side of the road, 8 pushrods and a new belt and were away again.

Now iv fixed the temp guage (new sender) she is reading just off the red all the time when shese hot. tested thermostat and it were F****d fitted a new one now at least the top hose gets hot. rad is still cold and she is overheating. will be flushin the rad today :(

Flushed the rad. and it wasnt blocked. Has a new water pump. Took her for a run without the thermostat in and she just cot off of cold. whent to re fit thermostat and the housing broke up :x :x so tomorrow im walking 5 miles to the scrappy and back for a new one :x

It best work after this :evil:

I got one but its been so long since it come out the wheels are probable siezed :lol: :lol: Plus i havent finished putting the engine on it yet :roll:

Sorted now. got a housing of an earlier Di. the ally sort. fits but i had to adapt one of the pipes. No stat in at the moment. the new one i got appears to be faulty :evil:

Well since the timing belt she has been running a dream. does 85 flat out but will rev to 5000rpm :shock: :shock:

Made up a lighr bar for the roof not sure about the ends thou. they may look better when its polished and the welds are ground down. I will be doing this tomorrow. if i dont like it il cut them off.

What do you think :?:

Cant see them too well but they are about 5 inches long that run 90* off the bar

Also got the CB in 8) 8)
