well been quite busy with this van as it needed two new wings new wheel arches and new inner and outer sills

the van is going to be converted into a horse box for our ponys.

she is a 1997 190 lwb luton in good mech condition just have to find the missing bolts out of varius parts lol.

she was stood in a corner of a field for minimun of 3 years.

i have started to red oxide her and have also coated most of the chashie with waxoyl since i gave it one hell of a wire brushing to clean it up
there is a plate on the rear that some one had welded on this is cumming of and being redone as it was worse than a pigen poo

well some more work done back end is sorted apart from the very end cross member all the back was wire brushed down and red oxide and waxoiled front end was out of shape on wich i thought i had took a photo of the bonnet not closing and having a 1ft gap to the grill.

new top crosmember abouve rad new passinger side headlight two wings two sills two inner sills rebuilt passinger inner wing only have 3 photos to update but just have to tidy up the body welds now and do a few more things to it for mot then the horse box conversion starts.

also fitted new brake disks and pads to the front two new front tires new brake pipe from master to rear new front brake hoses as well lol.
inside the cab i removed the carpet plated the drivers side arch and a couple of holes in the floor and used white hammeright on the whole floor to protect it refitted interia and re hung the doors.

Good work, but I think that hole in the wing is a bit big for a vent grill :P

i knew there was a bit of rott under the wing but i didnt kno where the spot welds where or what not to cut until i got my wing so cut a hole in the middle this van has been a first project for me doing body work where every thing you do is on show.

just need to sort the cross valance out under the passinger side head light think im going to cut it out and weld in a new section there

well thats the back box section replaced with a stronger and new rebult section need to check welds as was getting dark and need to make sure i got all my seams put it back into place on the van then attached rear lights. had to order a new lense as for months i have stored the other two lights on the bodge plate and pulled them out yesterday and when welding the cross member up it fell over and took the passinger side light out.
the van will never be able to have a tow bar i dont think i used very thick plate on the box section cut the old stuff out and had to use hammer at full swing to bend this stuff but this plate went over the 3 holes that where reinforced with tubes so think that was the tow bar one
