Had my £200 smiley for a year (ish) 60,000 miles one owner it had 6 months tax and test and half a tank of fuel, he left the sony cd player and auto changer in because the radio hadn't worked for two years... I pressed the reset button and bingo :D .
I replaced the clutch and prop centre bearing, timing belt, oil and filter etc and done the pump mod, have been collecting goodies for when the better weather gets here
I have new front wings, arches and sills (not that they a rotten but ya never know)
I have sourced side windows,an inverter (£20 8) ) and lots of other bits and bobs the idea being is to turn my swb low roof into a camper, double bed, small kitchen etc
but also to carry my xjr 1300 to those bike shows where the missus comes with me and doesn't like camping :(

So bike transport to shows and converts to camper when we arrive and unload.
The last piece of the jigsaw was completed today........ I got my mig bottle refilled.
So roll on the better weather and I hope to make notes as I go................... watch this space.

First day off in a long time and the sun was shining :D Dug out mig welder, front wings, arches etc all ready to rock n roll 8)

Then it p*ssed down with rain so put all above mentioned items back under cover....... make a cuppa :)

Rain stops get all stuff out again..... :D start to unbolt bumper etc..... rain starts again

Put all stuff away, refit bumper while throwing plenty of fcuks into it, lock garage door, back indoors kettle on and watch motogp on i player

perhaps next week :|

I definitely started yesterday :D After getting all the panels together about march time, yesterday was the first time that good weather and me being home coincided.
Bumper,n/s lights, grill off drilled out the spot welds on the wing and wheelarch. I was expecting to find a lot of repair work needed on the inner wing as most of the wing had fallen off.
Got the wing off and was pleasantly suprised to find only two small holes that needed patching and the rest of the inner arch was good :D
Got the new wing and arch tacked on to line things up and............ it p*ssed down with rain
Mig welding with water running down my back isnt my idea of fun but they are on all bar a few more welds.

No pics because my camera didnt like it when it got wet
