First time transit owner! A mk5

Hi guys, hope this is the correct section to post this in.

After beeing unable to find a decent mk5 recovery truck in my Price range I have decided to go the dolly route and get a transit van for a tow vehicle.

I've just won this on eBay, collecting monday. This is the item number https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/270950720792 on phone so not sure how to link.
Looks like I'll need a new inlet hose judging by the tape in the pic.

What's every ones opinion on it, anyone know the van?
