Punto443 I'm putting a mk7 steering wheel on my mk6, did you use the mk6 or mk7 indicator stalk also how do you wire up the air bag as the wires are different

I used the mk6 stalk, and I just swapped the plug on the airbag wiring :D

Hello mate sorry I know it's been a while since you did your steering wheel,can you remember what size bolts you used and is there room for the nuts in the bit where the airbag goes

When I did mine I used 6mm gutter bolts with spring washer and locktighted them.

2005 85ps t280 swb camper, chrome door handles, outside temp gauge and clock and auxiliary 12volt socket. Colour coded bumpers & door mirrors, Mondeo glasses holder. Auto dim rear view mirror. Vantunered :D . 2012 Transit Trend in Panther Black

I used 8.8 m6 coach bolts and nylok nuts for mine.
