Lovin the wellers look! May well take you up on the spare, just a tad worried...cornwall and no spare....hmm, sounds like trouble....will ask the board about the fit...and thanks...probably inner hippy too laid back to get out!

You need to test fit the wheel front and back, as mk5 rims have been know to rub on handbrake cables etc.

Yip, good day with the mobile mech nick who loves her too. New water pump, starter motor stopped working in the same way the alternator did, not enough bolts to hold it on...new belts, electronic ignition, new rear shocks, phew a long day. Need to track down new front shocks, get an electrician to check the sparks and tony the mobilevanman with the front seats...starting finally after a gruelling couple of weeks to get excited!! :)

That would be great capt, thank you. If you can pm costs address and stuff would be really great. Driving her around today she is now chugging and kicking out black smoke...i guess the head has blown...exhaust sounds very suspect too. Turned on the internal pump today, it lasted 2 minutes and burnt out so had to replace that too.

Starting to feel a little down about all this today. Feel like i know nothing about what im looking at. Thanks to all of you offering advice and assistance on here, i hate to think where i would be without you all...hopefully happy trucking for me soon too :)
