Was hoping to get a lot more done before Transitmania, work tomorrow, pack everything and leaving Saturday morning.

Well, I hate to point out the obvious.. it's a transit! They do break down occasionally you know....

Yes, Luke it's been to every Transitmania, towed one year, but at least it drove out under its own steam, even if it only made it to the garage outside the gate lol.


Didn't make it to Southampton keef, left in carpark in Winchester on the way there :lol:

Still haven't sorted photos from the last 10 Transitmania's mainly because I couldn't find one from each show, but I'll have to work on it a bit harder.

Anyway, the van has been off the road for a couple of months, needing a bit of welding, plus Im thinking of pulling interior out again over the winter months, after it started peeling just about everywhere and the finish quality just isnt upto it.
So, I wanted to upgrade the sound system a bit, but sitting in the van for an hour didn't give many ideas where to put the 6 speakers needed for the front! Fitted an old Alpine head unit, even here sound difference was amazing. Definitely not going to be cutting the dash, it has to be pillar pods and footwell pods. Never done anything like this, but watched some YouTube videos, so here goes!
Started with having some mdf mounts laser cut.

nice to have a thumping sound system in ya van, would like to upgrade mine, but keep finding rusty holes to fix :roll:

Rear of sliding door inner and outer cill, probably bit the bowl too.
