Had a go at tinting the windows on my mk3 camper today, bloody awkward it is too, here is some pics...............







Camper van is slowly getting there now, been working on it since April, how time flies when you are having fun (!)

Thanks BigMonty, the window frames were originally silver, decided they would be better off black like the windows!!, Its going to be treated to new paint next year too, white again I should imagine, but the horrid stripes down the sides will be gone!!

Looks cool, thats on the list to do to mine too. Not sure about losing the stripes though, beige...yes, period...yes but they look kinda cool

Hi Jono,

I have thought about beige, but only briefly, It is a bit "Austin Allegro" for me!!, I may do the body, ie - not the hi-top, in pepper red, but the most likley outcome is that it will be done back into white with more modern camper decals applied, not too many mind!, Maybe a set of wellers to finish it off.!!

Lovin the wellers! I tend to think red is a hard half colour to get right but sounds kinda sporty
