Another mk6 swb in the club

Postby daviedevil » Tue Jan 14, 2014 10:27 pm

After working for a used van sales firm in the north west for 6 years I've finally managed to get a trade in off my gaffer.
It's a mk6 swb low roof 85hp and luckily it's an lx. Gotta love the electric toys in a van.
It's not the prettiest thing but a good start.

I intend to use it as my daily driver as it's the 2.0 fwd it's economical enough to do so, I also do a little bit of kayaking not that you'd believe so with the size of me!
The idea is to make it so I can sleep in it if we go camping or to watch rallies and keep it useable for when I do any detailing work.
I hope to catch up with local members and borrow some of your ideas. I've already sourced a 1800 watt inverter and battery

Thanx for reading me goin on

It's a 2004 bud. It's only surface rust on the side panels really. A full flick this summer will tidy it up. Till then I've got a few tricks up my sleeve to stop it lookin so bad
