pressure washed off all the loose bits, chassis is solid, originally a camper but had a cab back welded in

Chassis has been cut to accept spec, i have all the bits that were cut out to fit strait back in,

Front wings are good, doors solid, bottom of B pillars gone, cab back needs finishing, floor and steps good, inner sills need plating,

Rover V8 from P6/SD1 is not running, the stupid OPUS ignition in dizzy has shorted to ground so have ordered a powerspark kit, will pull engine once its running to clean and paint bay, auto box is very clean and doesnt look old

anyone want to guess how much she cost me??

Couldn't imagine all the back tyres BJT would get throu in this, trying to impress the fat birds outside Grimsby Aldis.

Seriously this would be one of my dream trucks. A Mk 1 pickup with a V8. That is just way cool 8)

A tyre shredder! Love it. Gawd knows why somebody thought they would fit a spec. What would it lift/legally move?

fitted new dizzy, added fuel and she fired strait up 8)

However it wont run off of choke yet,

Gear box doesnt seem to be changing gear so looks like a manual conversion will be happening 8)

Going to pull engine and box out, replace cam and lifters and fit a 4 barrell conversion

will be attacking the chassis and cab with the sandblaster too

be even better with a mk1 V8 spec lift..even if not used for work would still look and sound nice..I nearly did buy a mk5 spec lift years ago with a rover B8 in it only reason i never did was because chassis was broken, always fancied a spec lift with a big burbling V8 proberbly got that from cannonball run where there is a nice v8 big block spec lift
