so the questions begin

i want to add a second battery for work lights
i have a spare unit from a 2009 van that had 2 batteries on it
how do i wire up the relay so when the van is running both batteries charge up together

also i have the motors and harness from a van with elec windows that i want to fit
do i need any relays or extra wires to be run or will it plug and play

i also want to add the lower spot lights
i do have these and i also have a spare headlight switch that comes from a van with lower spot lights what else will i need

body work needs a tidy up

Looks tidy, I would double check N/S front sill & forward rear arch at the bottom.

well I'm off early in the morning to pick up the new van

well after a 500 mile drive yesterday it never missed a beat and drove better than a lot of lower mileage vans i get in at work

it does have a few issues tho
ill put them here and in mk7

when it starts from cold the throttle does nothing for about 20 seconds then its fine all day?

i have the cog with a ! in the middle on all the time .ill plug it in at work tomorrow to see if it tells me any thing

also the side loading door won't open ,it sounds like its un locking but the handles do nothing ? is there a way to open it without damaging the door

I've had a day working on it so it now looks a little better





any help with the above would be amazing please

If you look under the bonnet, on the top of the chassis legs, near the front you may find the fog light connectors clipped back to the loom, but if not, fit lights, connect one wire from each to earth, connect other wires together, run round engine bay, and into area behind glove box, then connect into junction box, I'll find out which pin later, that's what I had to do to mine.
The wiring for the switch will already be there
