Got some filler, wire bursh, sandpaper, rust eating fluid and diamons white spray and basecoat and I'm gonna tart the van up a bit. Im also thinking about using waxoil underneath too. Whats the best way to use it? Would the van need to be jetwashed underneath first, left to dry then waxoiling, or just slap it on, regardless? Any tips welcome!

I know this is a bit of a thread resurrection but I've recently bought a W reg ex British Telecom Smiley face Transit 120 SWB to replace my beat to crap Semi High minibus.
The new (er) Transit has the same Eberspacher water heater built into it, it works and I'm just wondering what diameter copper pipe you used to replace the steel. Mines OK at the moment but I'd rather have some ready to go right on when the time comes to replace it.
Also whilst I've been on the trawl through the internet I found a tutorial about taking the burner apart which people might find helpful.
Tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14SUSxfPHPY
One thing about it though, does anyone know how much difference the silencers (intake and exhaust) make to these things cos at the moment its like a Lightning jet fighter warming up, not much cop for warming my van up at daft O clock in the morning if I don't use it cos its too noisy.
