Postby bluebit » Tue Apr 14, 2015 10:04 pm

Hallo guy's - this is my first post on this forum.
Sorry for my language - but I have not used it in a long time.

In Poland, most people love the VW but I loved my Ford :] so i want to share with you all the work that i have done :)

I bought my westfallia two years ago.

(when I press one time it turns on - one LED lath, when I press two times it turns - two LED lath ect.)

have removed whole dashboard and added :
layer of bituminous substances (to be protected against rust),
and extra soundproofing layer.

Last week I have added extra 160W solar panel at the roof - to charge 2 battery in the car :)

This week what i plan to do:
regenerate recently bought Ronal RS alloys
regenerate bridge axle, differential, (dyfer in my language) (I do not know what it's called in english :))

I think that is it (could forget about some things which has been done).

Once again sorry for mistakes hope you enjoyed it ;)

All the best!

Nice to see another Transit enthusiast from Poland :)

Looks like a tidy camper-van. Congratulations!
regards, Maciej

Hallo guys,
in last year i made next modification :)
i change dashboard from mk3 to mk4.

I add airbags, electric window, electric and heated mirror, and prepare to add clima to this van. (air flow system is from transit with clima)

Some picture before and now :)

Wauw! You did an amazing job! An does is help for the noise and temperature to isolate the dashboard and floor so well? I might consider it for my '89 van, though we are now much more busy with removing rust, trying to get a new side window (this is impossible to get :? ), build a upper bed, etc. Much more on the fundamentals, but I'd love to do it so thoroughly as you do!

Oh this is funny!
Your van is originally Dutch? One of the documents mentions my current living town and is written in Dutch! (nothing important though)
