One thing we both noticed was the bed going left to right across the van can be a little tight as me and the misses are quite taller so started racking our brains , this is what we cam up with so thought would share in case any one eles fancys IT or just for ideas really ,BY fitting a universal swivel seat mech on the drivers side allowed the drivers seat to be rotated 90 degrees making the front with passenger one fully round quite a bit bigger and for a swb the maximum internal space possqble , then changing the table piece for a t shape piece with detachable leg fills in the area where the handbrake is between the seats, the other filled in bits are just 2 small pieces which sit on some ash batons and the seat making them very secure ( much better than we expected to be honest
) , rest is just a big old caravan cushion made into 3 small ones to fill in the gaps and job done , we now have a bed 6ft wide and just over 6 ft long , at the total price of £58 and couple of cuts and bruises and a few hours cutting and fitting and drilling , Still been looking around for same conversion as ours but not found one yet , any info would be nice , I have the recipt for the conversion at 4700 quid in 1997 but that's it , it did 3 years as a mini bus hence windows all round in every panel
