So ive been pushing along with the van hopng to get it ready for weald, the engine mounts are fully welded and painted, the gearbox x member is all welded and painted and the engine fitted for the last time before next Saturday!
Gonna extend certain bits of wiring in situ to try and save a bit of time but also got the clutch, gear stick, fuel tank/lines propshaft, radiator, exhausts and odd miscalanious bits..............so not too much to do!! :?
Few pics from tonight

You can do it Pete!

I've got my van booked in for MOT the day before, nothing like cutting it fine (but I do have a backup plan if all else fails)

Did you have to mod the bulkhead or tunnel to make it fit at all? Looks an awful lot of loom in that box...

Had to do some small cuts in the bulkhead where the rear of the cylinder heads are and did some panel work (hit it with a hammer  ) to the top left where the inlet is but other than that not much.
With some stainless manifolds on there would be even less.

Yeh the wiring still needs thining out but it wiil run how it is now, ive had to throw it together in the last couple of weeks to try and make north weald

Little update, fuel tank is on and plumbed in, exhausts are on, gearlinkage fitted and tyres are on the rims but not inflated as I bought the wrong size so need to aquire new uns and inflate.
Clutch is half way done, will be heavy and very short but its the best I could do in such short time and the prop is ready for welding/fitting. Will probably have to make a custom mount for the centre bearing too.
Went to start it earlier but suspect there isnt enough petrol in the tank and maybe a bad earth as there were no dash lights either.......... all good fun! :?
Sorry no pics today, hopefully get a vid of it running in the van tho next :D
