I bought the V reg one to mot and use , just putting sills on it for test (Hopefully this Friday it will be tested. The 52 plate is 150 TD is ex police this needs wings arches etc,etc.It has central locking and some kind of heater in the back(not sure what it is.

YG52 FYP A Ford Transit used by North Yorkshire Police. It is interesting to note that this vehicle was built quite some time before it was registered. A revised shape Transit was introduced in March 2000.

The rear view. Notice the stops on the doors which both open 270 degrees to lie flat with the bodywork and the white lights that can illuminate the street at night.

Also found it should be Lez compliant.

It does require work for mot and some panels , wings arches (usual).

Just finishing swb ,and i think i,ve sold it , will be keeping LWB 150.

Sold the swb , collecting parts for Yg52 just got wings,arches ,big starter motor, and bosch 145 pump to do away with epic gubbins so i can intercool it and fit yellow spot 130ps injectors..

Well nearly called it aday on this ,when i started cutting rust out pictures below.Untill i found it was one of the last registered.. It was built in November 1999 but did not get registered untill Sept 2002 all that time stood did not do it any good.

Ended up fitting new step , outer sill , inner wheel arch , outer wheel arch , and wing , repair to do to inner wing and out rigger....

Just got a o/s very solid and original back door as they are shot , going to end up buying n/s new as can,t get a good one...

Thanks Luke, started chopping n/s out , going to fit all this side then strip seats and carpets out and all the rear to do any repairs. Abit of inside work for when its raining or snowing...! Having to do it on my front drive as the big double garage i have ,has been converted to living quarters

Waiting for n/s step to arrive...In between rain showers started changing front flexy pipes and renewing all brake pipes while its up in the air.. So got a bit done today..

How easy / hard is it to bleed the brakes ?

Derv 23 will post picures and progree report soon , not changed rear flexy and pipe yet ,will tell you how much of a job it is to bleed them when done..
