I've got some of them in the van from last time I painted the wing, that's if I can find them :?

The scratchs are my own fault, instead of going old skool and using wet n dry I used my orbital sander  I only wanted to flat the fisheyes down and key in the surface, that bloody halfrauds nowhere near the colour colour match paint was crap to use, ended up with fisheyes everywhere :x

Going to pick up some high build primer today and more tack clothes

Bit more done on the wing, filler primer,
IMG_2020-08-29-10-31-57-889.jpg

Bit of colour coat, match isn't too bad,
IMG_2020-08-29-12-40-07-679.jpg

Need to spend a lot more time wet sanding, need to go get some better wet and dry sandpaper.

Now to let that dry and fit it to the van, might repaint the bumpers while there off, no stopping me now :D

I'll give it a week to fully dry then cut and polish it up.

You going to paint the rest of the van or leaving it 50 shades of blue..
And I know full well, the weather will stop you in your tracks..
I’m hoping while that wing was off you treated the inner wing to a lil oil too..

Aye the plan was to respray the whole van, the paint, thinners ect is £150 so not too bad, the plan is still to repaint the whole van but not till next year, I got a few rattle cans just to do the rust spots and make it look reasonable till next summer :D

Oil the inner wing you say,
IMG_2020-08-30-14-15-06-379.jpg

I'll be replacing the rusty bottom before 2025

I’m more surprised you didn’t paint the inner wing too...specially while you had access to it..
Umm, rust, it likes to play hide and seek...

  not as surprised as I am  I'll be painting the inner wing with stone chip when I have a bit more time, only had 20 minutes to swap the wing.

Saw a red sport van near mine yesterday, didn't look right in red, performance blue or moondust silver is the colour to have :D

Beggers can't be choosers I've got a silver van as that's all the money I wanted to spend. Still cost 2k though

20 years of 100 pounds annual rfl discount though should see me in profit.

I've scored 5 pirelli tyres for it 11mm to 14mm tread, 150gbp :P

I thought tread was 10mm new generally

And there I was thinking it was 8mm,lol..Though my loading shovel came with almost 10”s...
Iv been thinking that about this sport, if I ever get one, I know I will as my mot runs out in January, tho I don’t know if my van or my patience runs out first, a mates offered a loan(I can afford a k a month) but, I don’t like owing people if that makes sense...Just the drive to work from the lay-by has a few potholes and keep thinking everyone could be my last...

You can buy a 140ps van and for a cheap kit.

I don't see any real benefit to having a factory sport :( the alloys are soft and bend and the stickers a bit ahem, passenger airbag means less storage. And I'll bet the insurance is higher :(
