I know that feeling, I removed my spot/fog lights well over a year ago and still haven't finished making the bracket for them

Right suppose I should go plug the van in and see why it's being a bitch.

Well started off with the plan of re-wiring the fuel pump but plans change quickly,

Turbo looks a bit sooty :? But no play in there,
IMG_20190803_132337.jpg

Then spent a hour stripping the loom out to check the wiring,
IMG_20190803_143207.jpg

Rewired the fuel pump :P

Found a nice split in the boost pipe,
IMG_20190803_144456.jpg

Looks like it's been rubbing on a nut or something :x at least I know where my boost leak is now,

Just about to retape the wiring up and refit the plastic sleeves when I spotted this,
IMG_20190803_174128.jpg

Bloody CHT wire melted/chaffed, need to fix that now

But I did fit nice clean new inlet manifold gaskets 8)
IMG_20190803_183233.jpg

Hope the bloody van appreciates all this attention.

Bit of an update from a few months ago,

Rear window film fitted,
IMG_20190514_203710.jpg

HID headlights fitted, big thanks to Mr Andz for the kit,
IMG_20190701_191820.jpg

Need to go out at night for some pictures.

Still to do,

Paint the front wing from the good Mr Altransit,
Paint the tailgate from the good Mr Loot,
Fit both said items and tackle the rust spots on the van, jobs are never done

Looking productive, turbo may even pass oil film so soot should be fine.
I'm after a tailgate .

You should get some zip ties and look for any wobbly pipes or looms or brackets etc and loosely tie them out of the way. 8)

Made a leak back test kit,
IMG_20190810_145822.jpg

So did a leak back test, may as well as I made the kit
IMG_20190811_130936.jpg

Happy with the results, I think,
IMG_20190811_132114.jpg

Bottom red line 25ml top red line 50ml, no2 cylinder looks very low all the rest are at 25ml.

Now I've rewired the fuel pump, done a leak back test and the van still goes into limp mode so next change the fuel filter, buy a new imv, wondering if the throttle pedal might be iffy, it has had 220,000 miles of use, expensive part if it's not faulty.
