Well after a good few hours last night the drivers seat has been swapped, bit of a nightmare as the seat frame was different to the one we used on the passenger side, but the end result is there, I need to find a few days now when I dint need to drive the van so I can pull the frames out and give the a fresh coat of paint.

Lol yeah, I got them of eBay, adjustable backs, both for £150. New, I happy with them, they seem well made

cant see in your pics, and not looked in a mk6 myself, but do they have plastic bits round the bottom of the seats, and did you get them back on ?

The standard seats do have plastic bits but they are massive and don't look nice, another job with the seats is to make up some nice Ali trim panels, but that's a bit further down the list of things I wanna do to the van,

My next mission is to get the air conditioning system finished and working waiting on a rad to turn up, then of to see my brother in law for him to fill the system up, hopefully there will be no issues, but that's not how my luck is going with this van.

Well today I have done loads of jobs to try and bring the van up to scratch, list of jobs done

Drain oil,
Remove sump and clean pick up pipe,
Fit new sump,
New oil filter and oil,
Replace water pump,
Replace power steering pump,
Fit new belt and tensioner,
Fill with new anti freeze,
Fit aircon radiator,
Replace the exhaust system from down pipe back.

All seems good apart from a leak from the power steering pipe to pump joint.

So now there isn't to much left to replace or repair, I'm starting to see light at the end of the tunnel

Oh and I have a now taken a picture of my boost gauge take off.
