when I got the transit heater blower wasn't working. resistor had turned to rust new ford one fitted still not working fan motor seized up new ford one fitted then would only work on 1 and 2 checked the switch and loom plug was melted its the 3 speed both ways type managed to get a early type loom to convert it to the 3 speed one way hopefully no problems for a few years to come

The early recirc switches burn out for fun (worse than yhe standard ones) and are obsolete and not available as a pattern part. Later ones with the vac control are. You might do better to find the right loom for your truck?

bought an old m reg chassis cab for spares robbed the fan loom and switch out of that job done

managed to find this ex Aberdeen city council bus it had been parked up for over 11 years put a battery on her and started first turn. its got a 100ps turbo unit fitted very low mileage so will be replacing the one in the recovery truck

time for the engine change in the old recovery truck. took the engine out last night when it eventually stopped raining

found this genuine ford front wheel arch on ebay to stick with my stock of parts for future use. sure it will come in handy knowing what transits are like
