I actually have 3 tyres with good tread, I wouldn't say they were good tyres though

I had these on the lwb for 2 years and lasted well I replaced them with the same company again and the balance was terrible! The machine wouldn’t weight them out was like I had square wheels when I got onto the motorway , I sold them on and learnt my lesson to pay the extra they were seriously dangerous

A few jobs ticked off the list this week, egr valve replaced, new glowplugs fitted, a track rod end and front passenger side brake line replaced with a new copper one.

New egr went in relatively easily unfortunately the old one didn't want to come out and put up a good fight, egr ended up looking like this...

And I ended up with a bit of a black eye

Glowplugs came out nice and easy too especially with the inlet manifold out of the way

Hopefully that will sort the starting issues I have when it gets cold

Track rod end was advisory on the last mot as having a bit of play, wasn't too bad when I took it off but cheap enough to replace

Front brake lines were also advisories last year as being corroded, drivers side was replaced as it actually holed through, passenger side one broke as I was taking it off

Now for the first time since I've owned this van I have no warning lights on the dash (egr has been stuck closed since I bought it)

MOT next week

Well I finally took the plunge and fitted 2 new recon injectors today and then plugged in my elm327 and forscan to do the pump learn and injector pilot learn

IMG_0367.JPG

Slightly nerve racking as I've never really used forscan etc before but it all went well

So next jobs on the list are the side door middle roller and new track and then oil sump as I still haven't replaced that yet either.

After I replaced the front brake pipe the other day and bled it all through (almost 2 litres through all calipers) the fluid that came out looked pretty murky

IMG_0328.JPG

After a couple of days it had cleared a bit and a load of stuff had settled to the bottom of the bottle

IMG_0350.JPG

No idea what it I said but it looks pretty grim

That's what I was thinking it might be, the pipes from the master cylinder to abs unit have been replaced, both front ones have been replaced and the front to rear are looking a bit worse for wear so I'll change them soon as well then do a lot of brake bleeding.
