Dab aerial splitter fitted to the standard aerial, not 100% it's going to work as well as a proper dab aerial but we'll see, now I just need to fit some rear speakers and sort the steering wheel controls

And then I fitted a new bulkhead to replace the rusty holey one that was in it

Out with the old

And in with the new

Well I've not been on for a while, life etc getting in the way again

Then I had the issue of the crankshaft pulley deciding it no longer wanted to be attached to the van anymore and took the aux belt with it. I ended up stripping the whole front end down to get to it as I wasn't sure about what access I was going to need to fit the new one

And then fitted my spare front bumper so I can hopefully get the newer better one painted.

Next job on the list was well overdue for getting sorted and that was the sump pan, first oil change I did I found the drain plug had been cross threaded, fitted a new drain plug but it has been dripping oil ever since. The Mrs was away over half term so I took that opportunity to fit the new sump I had (mrs away so meant I could use her car if needed)

Out with the rusty old one

And on with the new one
IMG_1663.JPG

Next job wasn't exactly an essential one but again it's been on the to do list for a little while and that was fitting a heated seat kit, much nicer on these cold mornings

And finally the most recent job I've done on it was build some racking for the back

IMG_1811.JPG

I'm no chippy but I'm happy with how it turned out, it is fitted but I've not actually had time to actually sort the van out yet so it's still a tip in there just now

Nicely done, you’ll get around to fitting the racking in soon enough I bet

It's fitted and I have put my drill and grinder in the right places but the rest of the back is still terrible

IMG_1812.JPG

It's not got a solid back to the racking gust a Jew bits of batten to stop the boxes falling out the back, nor is it scribed to the shape of the van as scribing is beyond my capabilities

Then this weekend I fitted some high spec clocks, info stalk and the outside thermostat.

Was disgusting inside the dash, had to use a a screwdriver to scrape most of the crud off

Outside thermostat fitted with a cable tie as the metal spring clip thing snapped off

And high spec clocks fitted

Been busy with work, dogs and life in general so not much van time, off this week as school holidays so gave the back a tidy up and fitted some new lights front and rear

Already had a Mondeo lightwith leds at the front of the cab but the rear one was still a normal bulb. Fitted an led panel in it and then fitted an extra strip light behind it
