Cracking van mate, just a question about your wheels really, what offset are your front ones? When you said you've redrilled them did you drill for the pcd or the small bolts around the edges? Thanks Rob

Hi rob,
The fronts are 16x7j with 0 offset and the rears are 17x9j with a -25 offset. I had to fit the narrower mk3 axle just so that these would go on without them sticking out of the arch.
They were all drilled to to the correct pcd and the old holes welded up, the rears have been drilled around the inside and stainless cap head bolts added so that they matched the fronts too

Thanks for the info mate, what pcd were they then? 5x165? I've got a mk3 so the rears would fill the arches perfectly! Thanks Rob.

if you mean your van is a mk3 then the rear arches are narrower than the mk5 tourneo so the exact same offset wheels might not fit

Good point luke, because of the rolled/wider lip on the mk5s?
May have to go for skinnier tyres to make them stretch under the mk3 arches?

Sounds like a pain in the arse! Do the wheels have to be redrilled then or can you run them on the landy pcd? Might just get some steels banded.

Yeh they have to be redrilled, a lot of people with mk6/7s run them without drilling and get away with it due to them having bigger studs than the mk3/4/5s but Imo it's just stupid!
Safest way is getting them drilled and a 60deg taper for the nut to seat on the rim properly

You may have to roll your arches to get the same wheels as me under there as the mk3s rears haven't got the flare as such like the mk5s, I've had to roll mine as they catch when there is weight in the rear but I do intend on going to a smaller walled tyre once these need replacing, I'll take a few measurements from mine tomorrow if it's not peeing it down and post em up
