A series RB44

Postby Guy88 » Sun Nov 13, 2016 7:32 pm

So this week the new beast arrived, Everything is there bar the engine so thats the first job to find

door handles are around 6ft in air so its about 2 ft taller than a county, hope to restore it to full working condition and get her back into her SFOR days

She served in Kosovo under IFOR from '95 to '96 then was put onto SFOR, last owner got it from swindon to restore but lost storage so i pretty much stole it from him

things have started on this

auto gearbox is out and looks to be usable, its a GM TH350 HD and they rarely go wrong, just needs a bolt for the prop flange and an input seal just to be safe

i have an engine and torque converter on its way, both brand new ready to drop in,

just got to sort the roof, paint it, new decals and register it 8)
