How's the cheapy stereo from china working?

It never worked as they don't send you a surround so I bought 1 which required screwing and in the last screw I slipped and broke the screen

Buy once buy twice etc.

So I'm still using the standard stereo.

Facebook Market usually comes up with a decent radio for 100 quid used. Pioneer or Kenwood etc.

Side note, i sanded my side rails down and they are rusty as hell

I want to fit mk8 rails if possible but things are more than I want to pay as the lair is eating my time and money, also i have to consider buying a curtainsider if I want to do a business of sorts so will likely get a mk7.

Who knows what the future holds.

Ah, I just checked back a couple of pages and you did say you had cracked the screen. I must've been missed it.

I've seen a couple of decent ish ones in Halfrauds but I don't want to pay their price at the moment as I've still got a lot of the camper stuff to buy so thought a cheapy Chinese head unit would do for now

I have no idea if it fits but it is listed for 2006 to 2015 I need to get oil and the slumping soaked in oil and there's a bolt head missing. I'm half tempted to remove the engine in the lair and rebuild it.

But i fitted the new turbo from mr Andz which was like new compared to mine.

I may service mine though.

But it runs and seems great now, I haven't road tested it but I think it's sorted, we'll see, big thanks buddy.
Only took an hour all in

Also stretched the caliper spring, bent the heat shield away from the handbrake cable to free it a little and also slackened the handbrake adjuster and now the sh*t comes off So fingers crossed that's all sorted.

Anyone need an oil cooler with spin on canister
The old 1 is leaking oil now, needs a new sump and oil filter gasket.

I wonder if i could cnc an adapter plate?

Yes sorry wrong picture shown.

Mine is a plastic cooler and i bought a metal filter cooler. But it is completely different fitment.

Upon looking again there is 1 that is listed that looks like the same fitment.

But in my defense the 1 I bought was listed for 2.2/2.4 2006 to 2014 so I assumed it was correct.
