Nothing wrong with that Ned, plus copious amounts of calk slapped on with a blunt trowel will do nicely  8)

Snap! Can't remember if I mentioned it here but I reversed on to the drive late one night and hit some scaffolding I didn't know we had.

Neighbour's gonna sort out its repair though.

Well that was a silly thing to do, you have to watch that magic scaffolding that jumps out on you  bit like those evil trees that appear when reversing

How the bloody hell do you get a scratch that high :? Umbrella or something weird.

It is :P under the van is very crusty and thick with some sort of spayed on stuff. I think there has been welding done and new brake pipes, there has been grey paint of some sort painted all over too stop the rust which I've painted silver tonight, still bad but blends in more with the van colour under the bonnet has been painted black with shutz or something in the inner wings.

I got the van with fuel problems and electrical problems but I've sorted all that so apart from a few aesthetic jobs I'm on a good un :P

AYe, mine was too. But it was rust! When I finally sold it last month I pulled it out of the corner and thought the offside sill looked a bit odd, kinda bowed out. Looked a bit closer and the whole side was detached: the inner sill was gone, totally rusted away!

Loots 130 mk7

Postby loot » Tue Aug 27, 2019 1:14 pm

So installed new abs pump from 8c11 and new longitudinal sensor from 8c and I added a fiesta steering wheel. Had various faults come on, I restored from backup with the newer 8c speedo and it programmed my bcm to 2.4 110ps rwd van  so I put my original clocks in and restored from that backup but it didn't fully take and left the Illumination on with ignition key so I used asbuilt to restore the van, that brought abs and esp lights and brake wear light on, the brake wear light was a coincidence and I bridged the 2 pins 15 and 18 to remove that, I cleared codes etc.
Started off to work today and the esp kicked in and jammed on the brakes. At lunch i managed to clear codes then calibrate the sas and lon sensors and I deactivated Hathern activated it, test drove it and that seems to be sorted, also set a few things in configuration that I like, cruise, 4 speakers, single unlock, deactivate drive away locking at speed and turned on lock only load space if left.

Like some of that locking stuff you've done but not sure if I have configurable locking. Where is it in IDS...?

Configuration :P

There's a few options, i think Airthies checked out each configurable option too as there's 6 I think within the options.

I like single unlock like a car on mine, I hate them locking when I drive off. And I don't like them relocking if I don't unlock then open the door quickly. I think I set it to relock the back. Might turn that off though we'll see, oh and I turn off the beep of the doors don't lock
