You've got some good pics there, very revealing as to how big some bits of kit are (like the B2B charger) and how your install works (like the insulation).

Not so sure about the top yoke and handlebars...

How was the end of the awning rail above the cab secured? I'm fitting one the the 'Cube but to get the correct height it might have a bit sticking out the front by a couple of inches. I'm thinking about making a small block to fill in the gap.

The b2b isn't too big but is much bigger than the normal vsr, leisure battery is pretty hefty though. All the electrics do take up a fair amount of space.

Ah yes the handlebars, was thinking of fitting them instead of the steering wheel

Awning rail is just pop riveted in place front section is literally just hanging there, ready to catch any passing greenery from hedges. I'll be cutting the floating bit off as I'm fitting a fiamma awning and that rail is now redundant

Finally got around to connecting the solar panel to the charge controller and leisure battery but then had to redo some of the 12v electrics due to a dodgy fusebox that somehow managed to make some circuits live despite there not being a fuse in the slot for that circuit


I had fitted one of these as I figured it would simplify the electrics with just one cable running to the positive side and then all the negatives coming back to the neg busbar on the fusebox.
Led telltale is meant to light up when a fuse blows.

I put one fuse in it to power the internal ceiling lights only, no fuses in the other 5 ways, 2 of the telltales lit up as they should and the other 3 circuits became live. The ceiling lights came on but we're very dim and flickering.

I checked all the connections to make sure it wasn't something I'd done then realised the fuse box was a pile of crap, so that's all been changed now.

New radio has been bought and just waiting for the fascia adapter to arrive

Van has been pulling triple duty the last couple of weeks, campervan, work van and moving van. Certainly been earning its keep

Treated it to some Heko wind deflectors this week

The roofrack and solar panel; oooo aaaaarrrrr, very nice! The 6000cd stereo OUT; excellent. Exactly what I did - switched to a single din.
