I know that feeling, it’s a big project, don’t give up, you’ll get it done

Definitely won't be giving up, long way to go but it's also come a long way so far.

Have been collecting bits and pieces over the past month or so, including some units for inside, a full length roof rack and just done a deal on a 230w solar panel as well, picking it up next week at some point

No it's not cheap but I've done it the cheapest way I can for the set up I want. Most important bit to me is a good solar mppt controller. For my solar set up it's going to be in the region of £250

Only had a couple of hours this afternoon so decided to wire in the front fog lights as well as started to wire up the drls as well

Using a drl module thing that needs to be wired into the indicators and head lights so that the drls dim when the headlights are switched on and it also dims if the indicator is on

Not much this week other than the fog lights and drl install

Yep bought them as new but never fitted for a Mk6/7 high roof

This is with the bar sitting on the roof
