I’ve done quite a few jobs so far in the last 2 weeks due to being furloughed from work
1st changed Air and fuel filter and air box to turbo hose
2nd put a set of focus alloys on
Image
3rd changed the steering wheel for a leather mk6 Fiesta one
Image
4th fitted a parrot hand free kit
Image
5th stripped out all the ply lining and swept under it
Image
6th
Lifted cab floor mat and dumped the crap fibre matting and laid some black foam type stuff instead

Changed the wheel bearings and lower ball joints today and it didn’t all go to plan
O/S went ok and knuckle is refitted on van
N/S different story , got old ball joint and bearing out ok then put new bearing in ok but when I put hub in it pushed rear part of bearing out snapping ABS ring
and when I tried getting bearing back out I snapped a caliper carrier eye so new knuckle on order
Also bolted in the gearbox lower mount
And had this turn up

My drive way is ok as I'm on a main road , but I park my car 100yards away in a park entrance and it's got very dark tinted rear windows and tail gate glass

Done a few thing on Van today
Oil change and it still needs another one about months time
Took the roof rack off
Image

Then sanded down and painted any rust patches on roof , and put fixing bolts back in holes with plenty of Pu sealant
