Success! Forscan programmed used BCM and Cruise Control

Postby MinOMins » Wed Aug 26, 2020 5:57 pm

Hello,
Ford Transit 2010, DCIV 2.2, 115PS T280.

First, fordtransit.org and Forscan are superb!

It was no easy task and I done a ton of research on the pitfalls and the best scan tools to use. Three weeks pondering and researching!
I would like to thank all those people that posted on here with advice, go-to-links and channels to research.
Those that posted and gave advice about activating Cruise Control on the Transit MK7.
People that posted and gave advice about PATS programming.
And people who gave advice about swapping the BCM.
I thank you all and would say that it would not have been possible without your posts and advice.
A special mention goes to loot and vantuner.com. Although I did not contact them directly, their previous posts and website information was invaluable! Thank you.

The van now has a smart leather steering wheel and cruise control.
I also programmed, Automatic locking at speed, for child safety and anti-hijacking for the wife…

It was no easy task and I done a ton of research on the pitfalls and the best scan tools to use. Three weeks pondering and researching and I still nearly killed the van! There is a lot to understand and ponder...

WARNING! Not for Faint-hearted or the hit and hope's!

Thanks again and all the best guys.
