There's not much to do but i suppose it should be in progress column, i bought this couple of weeks ago off ebay, was on limp mode running on after switching off, that has now been sorted thanks to minor matt supplying a plunger and help and advice fitting, so thanks bery much matt, the next thing to sort is the gearbox its dreadful 1st and 2nd hold much too long 3rd only comes in at 42 coming off the gas with a thud, and 4th has retired completely, so around town is bearable over 50mph its reving, the van does come with a spare box, and ill try and fit that in the next couple of weeks & see if that's any better!!!!

Do all the automatics have this, does it also put u in limp mode im guessing pulls away with less power?

Ok thanks matt, mine doesn't have LSD from vin decoder so how does it work please, ive not looked under it yet

Van is revving at 55mph, again from vin decoder had 456 or 463 diff but gearbox is playing up so not sure if its going in top missing 3rd gear or its in 3rd

It detects if a wheel is spinning and applies the brakes to transfer drive to the other. It uses the ABS system

Have you checked/changed the gearbox oil?

I did put a litre of fluid in gearbox and it cured itself for 10 miles then it uncurred itself, so ill try oil & filter, also I've been given a granda mk3 with a A4LD geabox in it, but its a 92 car so think none electronic gearbox but that might do for my mk1 transit
