The left door sill needed attention, the step was ok just the sill and lip that extends down from the step was rusted from dust and sand that had made its way in there and collected moisture. You will notice the original sill is for a sliding door van, the old bloke had converted this van to swing doors so I made a new sill to match the swing door.
I don't think the Mk1 LWB van was available over here originally with swing doors however I prefer them over the sliding ones.

Thanks gents, a little bit at a time, I have had to repair the LH inner arch where the battery tray sits as it has rotted through quite badly although very localised also the battery tray only partially existed.

I searched high and low for a Mk1 Transit battery tray and could only find the Mk2 version, although people suggested the Mk2 one could be used I was motivated to make the tooling for the Mk1 tray then I could make them available for others and help with my Transit funds. Pics to come soon.
