Things are still going to plan, MOT in 4 weeks so have decided to have the front brakes and discs renewed, callipers, pads and discs have long needed a replace since i got the van in 2015 , back has already been done so after scouring the web for the best prices have managed to get what's in the photo for £225:

Eicher Premium vented Discs x 2 £57.18
Brembo pads both sides £40.00
Callipers x 2 £106.11
Slider kit for brackets £22.00

Finally getting to paint all my work with hammerite body seal, have decided to paint the inside section of the footwell as once covered with the plastic trim it won't be noticed anyway. Have also started on the sealing of all the welded areas with the same body seal and will be treating any surface rust i see then coating that as well till the complete underside of the van is done front to back.

So over the past couple of days i made the point of poking around the rear of the van chasing tin worm and have come across this little lot. it seems the little bugger is into the N/S chassis rail and has completely eaten the rear inner panel behind the side bumper trim and subsequently gone onto to feast itself on everything in that area which includes into the hangar spring brackets. Viewer discretion these pics are not for those of a nervous disposition.

So after a week at work finally had a day to myself to start delving deeper into the rear O/S to give me a better understanding of how deep my problem is, i have reached out already to a Transit specialist on here who makes panels for Transits who can supply me with the relevant parts required to make it looking factory fresh. I have gone the route of replacing full panels instead of just mashing in a patch over it and waiting for everything else around it to disintegrate.

been chasing replacement panels for the transit so no welding as yet, have managed to find a company in Fareham that gets panels from Ford Germany for the mk7 which is good news. They sent me a blow up diagram of what they can get for the internal structure of the Transit. Did go to my local scrapyard to source panels but what a nightmare, they dont allow cutting discs or anything that creates a spark so trying to cut out panels with a recip saw or hacksaw was not on the cards.
